Remove jewellery before swimming, bathing, or exercising. Moisture is one of the fastest ways plating and finishes wear down.
Perfume, lotion, and hairspray can dull or discolor jewellery over time. Put these on first, then put your pieces on last.
Keep pieces separated - in a soft pouch or lined box - so they do not scratch each other or tangle.
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaners on plated pieces.
